Welcome to my practice. My name is Ann Priddy and I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist I maintain a private practice in Albany,Georgia, specializing in individual, couples and family therapy and trauma work.
With over 30 years experience as a therapist, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are PTSD, Eating Disorders, Women In Transition and Couples Therapy. My early experience prior to private practice included working with adosescents and adults in a hospital inpatient setting. I began private practice in 1986.
I have presented to general and professional audiences speaking on the topics of Eating Disorders, Marriage Enrichment, Women In Transition, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Workplace Stress and numerous other topics. I have also provided Employee Assistance training to employers and Critical Incident Response consulting to employees after traumatic workplace incidents. I am an Employee Assistance provider to a number of local employers.
I am an interactive, systems oriented-therapist. While I evaluate which experiences shape an individual's current functioning, I also work with the relationship and patterns of interaction between persons. My therapeutic approach integrates complementary therapies and techniques to offer a personalized approach tailored to each client. I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
